Nexus Mods is a major leading PC database mod and ModDB swig into action into banning anti-LGBTQ account that has been replacing Gay Pride flags with American flags. After this harsh action, Nexus sent a very harsh warning to all accounts that peddle content will not be accepted, and all accounts that continue to do so risk their accounts being banned.
A few hours after the Non-Newtonian New York was published, it gathered some attention from the users which alerted Nexus and as soon as they noticed, the mod pulled from Nexus Mode
One of the website administrators Dark0ne revealed that the mode was uploaded by a secondary account which shows that its sole aim was to troll and demonstrate their understanding that it will not be allowed on the database. The user under the name of "Mike Hawk" caused this havoc that is making news around. Although the company has no rights or authority on what users can and cannot mod they will not allow other users to target a certain group of people and troll or make other people feel uncomfortable. They continued to boss around and said that they will continue to remove the patch from its repository and ban both the account and the secondary account. This came as the company was speaking out after removing the mod uploaded for Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered.
The person behind this controversial mod was banned with a rep from the mod portal and they are no longer welcomed on Nexus
Hi! We've removed the content and banned the users. ModDB is an inclusive environment for all and we do not permit targeting marginalised groups. Our content moderation is largely automated but when identified, we have a zero tolerance policy for this kind of content. https://t.co/0leqjUxqJD
