A gay man known as Peter Kisembo residing at Makinday was stabbed today morning following Peter kissing his girlfriend. On 19th/Sept/2022 Peter Kisembo and Allan Ssemakula were moving around the park for their first date when a couple of angry guys attacked and confronted them. Tried to explain themselves but the angry boys paid a deaf ear, as the scuff continued, one man swang into action and stabbed Peter within a flash. Allan was seriously beaten but good enough he is responding to medication positively.
Police were called for the rescue and four (4) gays were arrested as Peter was taken for medication. Homophobia in Uganda is too high and rises every other single day. Many Ugandans threaten the LGBTQ community, so many cases have been registered. This particular event is regarded as one of the cruelest the community has ever witnessed. Uganda still remains tight on passing gay and the community is still going through terrible prosecution
